How does this market resolve?

Trading is scheduled to close on Apr 1, 2027.

Resolution rules from Polymarket

This market will resolve to "Yes" if the Trump administration officially announces that the James S. Brady Press Briefing Room in the West Wing of the White House will permanently cease to serve as the White House press briefing room, or if the room permanently ceases to serve as the White House press briefing room, between market creation and the specified date, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No".

A qualifying announcement will count regardless of when the change is scheduled to take effect. An official announcement designating another space as the permanent White House press briefing room will also qualify.

This market will not resolve to "Yes" if the James S. Brady Press Briefing Room continues to share official status as a White House press briefing room with another space. Renaming the room, temporary closures (e.g., for maintenance), renovations that preserve the room's use as the press briefing room, and individual briefings held at other locations will not count. Whether reporters retain workspace in or around the room is irrelevant to resolution.

Only official announcements from the Trump administration or its authorized representatives will qualify. Media reports or statements that such a change is being considered will not count. Once a qualifying announcement has been made, any subsequent walkback, reversal, or blocking of the change will not affect resolution.

The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from the White House; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.

Whales are single buys of $5,000 or more; fresh wallets are first-time accounts betting $500 or more. Prices are Polymarket's own and move with every trade. How we count these.
